Jeff has been a member of many bands through his life and was recently diagnosed with ALS. Many of his current and former bandmates will come together on this day to perform and raise money for the Gleason Foundation. The event is free to the public. Walk in the footsteps of history through music, dance, demonstrations, exhibits and hands-on activities. This family friendly event is great for all ages and will include demonstrations of butter making, candle dipping, needlework, trapping, and many other “old-time” activities. You will listen to 19th century music in the shade of our historic oak trees and join in with the Lagniappe Historic Past-Time and Dance on our carriageway. Meet soldiers from the War of 1812, see and hear their muskets, maybe even visit with a pirate or two!
