I planned my wedding for two years, but it took only two months for me to decide my wedding had to be held at Destrehan Plantation. From the very beginning, Paula and her staff were great to work with! My wedding at Destrehan Plantation and was featured on the television show Four Weddings, which airs on TLC. … we were crowned the winners!! We received a cash prize, and a dream honeymoon to Portugal! My wedding was everything I dreamed it would be! Sincerely, Chantell Sevin |
As a lifelong resident of Destrehan, Louisiana, I have always known that I wanted to have my wedding at Destrehan Plantation. So when I got engaged, the first thing I did after jumping up and down was call Ms. Paula to reserve my date. I had a wonderful stress-free experience with Ms. Paula. She answered any question I had and made great recommendations. On the day of my wedding, the grounds were still saturated with water due to a substantial downpour of rain. The staff quickly prepared a place for my ceremony under the carriage way. Destrehan Plantation was easily the best vendor I worked with and would gladly recommend them to any bride looking for a venue. Emily Skaikay |
