Experience Louisiana’s holiday bonfire tradition, throughout December, with Gray Line tours and Destrehan Plantation
Enjoy a short motor coach ride to Destrehan Plantation for a guided tour of the Big House and a self-guided tour of the grounds, featuring the new Spirit of Christmas Light Exhibit presented by the Greater New Orleans Therapeutic Riding Center, a small non-profit organization that was founded to help provide a fun and therapeutic experience for individuals with physical, emotional and learning disabilities. Continue the evening with a delicious Cajun-style dinner featuring local favorites. Stop by the cash bar to purchase beer or wine before heading to the bonfire site. You will receive a private bonfire viewing, giving you and your guests a preview of the Christmas Eve bonfires on the Mississippi River levee. Dinner Menu includes salad, jambalaya, baked chicken, vegetable of choice, bread, and dessert of choice (bread pudding or brookies – melted cookie on a brownie); served with Coke products tea, and water.
