5th ANNUAL SPRING GARDEN AND PET SHOW 
March 13 & 14, 2027

Presented by the River Road Historical Society in partnership
with the LSU AgCenter and the Louisiana Master Gardeners

 

   What We Offer

Spend the weekend with us and explore a curated selection of over 75 vendors offering:
House plants, rare and unusual plants, vegetable plants, culinary herbs, fruit trees, garden, patio, and yard decor, botanical jewelry, and fine art

Learn from the experts
Ask questions about plant care, soil health, and seasonal planting
Learn what grows best in Louisiana’s climate
Attend seminars on topics about wildlife, plants, and pets

Pet adoption opportunities
Local rescue organizations will be on-site with dogs and cats, offering a chance to meet animals looking for loving homes

Relax and listen to musical performances by:
Robbie Matherne Acoustic Performance – Saturday from 12:00 pm to 4 pm
Peyton Falgoust Acoustic Performance – Sunday from 12:00 pm to 4 pm

Enjoy our food and beverage court
Take a break and refuel at the food court featuring a variety of southern-style and ethnic dishes, snacks, desserts, lemonade, sodas, and alcoholic beverages

Admission is $5.00 per person and free for children 5 and under

Tickets are available at the gate only

Our Spring Garden Show is Pet Friendly!

Family-friendly, non-aggressive pets are welcome at the show.
Your dog must be on a non-retractable leash, in a carrying case, or in a stroller at all times.

This show will accept vendors who provide items for the porch, patio, yard, garden and pet accessories, exceptions include botanical-themed jewelry and fine art
