Weddings F.A.Q.

How many weddings do you have on a weekend?

Up to three – One per day, Friday through Sunday.

How far in advance should I book my wedding?

You should book your wedding at least one year in advance.

Is the bridal session included in the package?

Yes. You must schedule your bridal session with our wedding coordinator. Bridal sessions are done Monday through Thursday between 9:00 am. to 2:00 p.m.

Do you supply furnishings and table pieces?

Yes. Our wedding coordinator will show you what we have available during your site visit.

Can we use an alternative catering service?

Our preferred house caterer is Capdeboscq Catering but we do allow other caterers with management approval and an additional kitchen fee. Other caterers must be licensed, bonded, and insured and meet with management.

When can we decorate?

You can decorate the day before the ceremony and reception.

Can I use my own furnishings or props for the ceremony and reception?

Yes. Let our coordinator know in advance your design scheme, and what furnishings or props you plan on using for your wedding.

When should we schedule our wedding/family pictures?

Wedding and family pictures are taken one hour before the ceremony.

How early can our guest arrive?

Guest should arrive no earlier than a half-hour before the the ceremony.

How long can we have for our reception?

Standard reception is 3 hours, but you can add an additional hour for an additional fee.

Can we use lighted candles?

No. Open flames on the grounds or inside the mule barn is prohibited.

Can we shoot fireworks?

No. Fireworks are prohibited on the property.

What is your cancellation policy?

A non-refundable deposit upon cancellation. Additional fees may apply depending on time of cancellation. See contract for details.
