Cooperage (Barrel Making) Demonstration at the Plantation!

Our experienced cooper will demonstrate the art of barrel making. On plantations coopers crafted cask barrels, which held sugar, flour, gunpower, tobacco, liquids and other commdoities. Coopers turned staves and hoops into butter churns, tubs, buckets and pails. If you would like to see his demonstration, please call in advance for the schedule at (985) 764-9315.
